Grilled Pineapple Dessert
Having a dinner party but tired of the traditional desserts of cookies and cake? Well, if you’re grilling out, this grilled pineapple recipe is to die for. Bright, delicious, and certainly off the beaten trail, it’s like a pina colada in your mouth!
What you need is:
- 1 pineapple, peeled and cored, cut into slices
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup coconut sorbet
- Mint leaves for garnish
Heat grill to a medium heat and lightly oil the grates. In a bowl, toss the pineapple in the honey and cayenne pepper. Grill until golden and the grill marks appear on the fruit. This takes about 10-15 minutes, and you should flip half of the way through. Place on plates with the coconut sorbet and accent with the mint leaves.
I got this recipe off of the Martha Stewart website. You can click here to see it.
