Pyromaniac Syndrom: New Chiminea
Gas Chimineas are Amazing Pieces for a Pyromaniac
As the winter draws closer it’s nice to look back on a great summer. Some of the best moments were with friends and the atmosphere created in our back yard. We already had some fire pots and water features, but it was the new Chimenea that created the biggest buzz of all.
I bought my wood burning chimenea because of a friend I have visited a few years ago. It was another garden party and the music was loud and people were drinking. But I enjoyed adding fuel to the fire and watching it burn. It sounds childish but the style of the wood burner was so immense I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
I wanted to re-create this scene in my back yard, so I bought a Blue Rooster Venetian Chiminea. It stands tall, has a fire you can see and looks great in my garden. Not only that, it will also create a little bit of heat when the evening draws to a close. Most people will pull their seats around the chiminea at the end of the evening and casually discuss the days topics.
For me though, I was still in awe of the fire. I always have been, and always will. People are talking all around me and I listen, but stare at the fire, waiting to place another fire block inside. Obviously I don’t do this all night, but once I’m captivated, it’s tough to break away from the zone I find myself in. It’s usually my wife that gives me a little hit on the head and stop being a zombie.
